Random Pics from Fall 2010

Ryan and I (me?) on a field trip with his preschool. Awesome pumpkin farm just outside Bloomington.

Alaina and neighbor/pal Logan after cheering at halftime of a Dee-Mack game.

Halloween 2010. After all the searching for "the perfect costume" for my Star Wars geek, he ended up trick-or-treating at 2 houses before he wanted to go home because "people were looking at him." Duh. Oh well, Alaina and I had fun, and scored extra candy without pokey little brother slowing us down! Maybe next year.

Clifton Central played Dee-Mack in the quarterfinals this year. I took the kids to the game. It was COLD, but it was fun seeing so many people from my hometown in my "new" hometown. I even ran into my former principal, Mr. Rabideau, and he recognized me and called me "one of his all-time favorite students." I'm sure he never says that to anyone else, right? Ha ha. I didn't really know any players from either team, so I was secretly rooting for Central to win, but they lost by 1 in the final minutes.

Ryan's 1st Day of Preschool

Ryan is going to God's Little Acre Preschool in Danvers this year. And mommy gets several hours a week ALL TO HERSELF for the first time in almost 6 years. Can't wait!

Don't let the sad face fool you in this photo. He is not at all crying because he's leaving his mommy. He is crying because he doesn't want his picture taken. Tough. Moms get pictures on the first day of school. Period. Cry all you want.

That's better. I must have come up with just the right bribe (or threat)!

For Ryan, his biggest concern was whether or not his preschool was going to have awesome toys. It appears they do from his face in this photo.

He jumped right in and started playing. I left without any fanfare. And another kid blows me off on their (MY) major milestone day ;)
OK, time to catch up. Big time. We've had quite a hectic 2010 (more on that later), but now it's time to get it together.
